Throughout his professional journey, Wayne Fanno has dedicated himself to championing education. With experience teaching at the secondary, community college, university, and adult education settings, Dr. Fanno identified a critical gap and societal necessity in Career based training. Motivated by the potential to guide students towards diverse career paths, he pioneered the establishment of Edvocation. This educational non-profit organization emerged from his vision to fulfill the pressing demand for skilled learners who can enter high wage-high demand occupations.

Executive Director, Co-Founder

D. Scott Smith is the Executive Director and co-founder of Edvocation. His experience includes high-tech manufacturing and supply chain operations, agriculture, the manufacture of upholstered furniture, and manufacturing for the display industry. Scott enjoys playing guitar and bass which makes having worked with Shark Tank winner Travis Perry of ChordBuddy a lot of fun.
